How to install roof panels.
To install corrugated roofing start by cutting your panels to length with an angle grinder.
Make sure the panel is square to the eave of the roof so that all of panels installed afterwards are straight.
Step 3 drill the holes now you can take out your drill and drill bit and start drilling the needed holes.
Next put a screw into the fastening strip to keep it steady before installing the screws along the face.
Screw the new panel in place as described.
Metal roofing is also available in the form of shingles.
Continue installing the metal panels making sure that the edges overlap at least 1 in 2 5 cm or as required with the adjacent panel.
You will want to make sure that the curve on the panels is flush over the moldings you have just secured into place with your galvanized screws.
Now we can install our roof panels.
Also be sure the stanchion flashing fits beneath the roof shingles to prevent leaks.
Install the panel so that the short lip overlaps the large lip.
You may need to cut panels to fit angles using a circular saw with a metal saw blade.
Take your first panel and set it on the roof in the area that you will be placing them.
Do this until the entire roof is covered.
Next pre drill holes on the end and side ridges of the panels spacing the holes 6 to 8 inches apart.
Screw each stanchion through the roof and into a roof rafter.
If you feel the need for sealants lay a bead of 100 silicone or adhesive silicone before laying the sheet down and make sure the bead is towards the edge of the bottom sheet.
Along the fastening strip of the sl16 always use the pancake head fastener.
