Start by removing the shingles.
Lower the first rafter truss into place at either the front or back of the shed.

Staple felt every 6 to 8 inches.
By starting with the roof first you ll have the sheer strength of the siding holding the framing together.
Install a starter course of shingles.
If you take off the siding before the roof you might find the shed is wobbly and unstable.
Fasten the truss by driving 8d finishing nails at an angle down through the board just above the birdsmouth notch and into the underlying wall plate.
