Take care the first piece is aligned precisely perpendicular square to the edge. The flashing should overlap the edge of the roof by one inch to help direct water. I m going to mark the z trim cut it and install it so that we can install the end wall trim using stitch screws. The cutting of the z trim is straight forward.

Lap screws should be placed 12 on center hitting the high seam of roofing corrugation. Step 1 attach the j trim along the line that will form the upper edge of the metal siding. Flashing is metal trim that fits over joints where two sections of roof meet. Install the trim by nail the longer side of the j to the framing lumber with the washer head metal siding nails. Butyl sealant tape should be placed parallel to the gable on the high seam of the roofing panel.

Space the screws about 12 in 30 cm apart down the entire piece of metal. Additional screws should be placed 12 on face staggered from top screws. The metal siding will slide into the j trim so install the channel with the opening of the j facing the direction of the siding. Take your first sheet of metal and place it on the roof so that it overhangs the edge at least 3 4 in 1 9 cm.
