Remove the front and rear covers using a suitable tool then remove the roof rack bolts at the four corners. Most simply clamp around your side rails or door jamb and can be removed by loosening a few bolts. I am a little apprehensive about prying up the ends of the rails. Remove the front and rear sliding crossbar bolts if equipped and remove.

And slide the roof rack back enough to release from roof. This video i show you guys how to install the oem roof rack. Not the cross rails the rails that run the length of the roof. Remove the rack assembly and place it upside down on a work table protected with clean shop rags.
